About the RoleA leading organization in sustainable transportation is inviting you to join their Propulsion System and Energy Management team in Gothenburg. As a Mechatronic Engineer, you will work with cutting-edge technology, integrating batteries, electric machines, and energy storage systems (ESS) into complete driveline solutions. Your expertise will help shape the future of electromobility.

This is a one yearconsultancy assignment with the possibility of extension or permanent employment, depending on project needs and mutual agreement.

Your Future ResponsibilitiesAs a Mechatronic Engineer, you will:

• Lead technical initiatives in mechatronics, focusing on battery systems, electric machines, and driveline integration.
• Develop and implement solutions that align with performance, cost, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a mentor, sharing your expertise to support team development.
• Build networks across the organization and external partners to stay at the forefront of technological advancements.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• Has at least 5 years of experience in mechatronics or related fields, with expertise in electric machines, ESS, and energy management.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of system integration principles.
• Communicates effectively and thrives in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
• Is curious, adaptable, and eager to learn about emerging technologies such as hydrogen fuel systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Python for simulations is a plus.
• Experience working in diverse, global teams.

Other Information

• Start: March 2025,alternatively by agreement.
• Location: Gothenburg, with flexible working arrangements.
• Scope: Full-time.
