• Folds, straightens, and arranges clothing in layers on stacked pallets. Hangs and straightens clothing on racks.

• Stacks product from partial pallets onto full pallets. Stacks items or opened cases of items on shelves.

• Communicates with supervisors and managers to determine merchandising plan and priorities. Writes list of products to be brought from steel, by forklift driver, for stocking.

• Moves and positions pallets of merchandise using manual pallet jack. Uses box knife to cut boxes, bin ties and shrink-wrap on pallets. Secures product on pallets with plastic film or twine and tags bins or pallets to be returned to steel.

• Follows merchandising standards and practices. Aligns product, collects and returns stray items, stocks to maintain high product levels. Spots for forklift drivers to keep people out of fall-danger zone. Follows all safety and security procedures.

• Clears sales floor of debris and sweeps. Observes and ensures correct product signage. Removes empty pallets from the sales floor. Rewraps loose product using shrink-wrap machine, operates cardboard bailer and trash compactor. Provides prompt and courteous member service. Assists members to load large items in their trolley, directs members to products, relates product status knowledge.
